All the deluxe yurts have a superking sized bed, bunk beds and a single bed/settee. They are designed to sleep up to five. If there are more than 2 adults in the tent we do charge an additional £15 a night per adult. The Superior yurts have a superking bed, bunk beds and a double sofa bed so can sleep up to six. Please tell us before arrival if you have any special bed arrangements.
We hold a £100 security deposit at booking/check-in which is released on check out providing there have been no losses or damages. This amount will not leave your account if paid on a credit card. This normally takes around 1-2 days after you have checked out to show back in your account.
Smoking and vaping is strictly prohibited in any yurts or on the decking. Evidence of smoking will result in your deposit being lost. Anyone disposing of cigarette ends unsatisfactorily (i.e littering) will lose his or her deposit.
An inventory for each bell tent is provided and you should check this upon arrival. We must be advised of items that are missing, broken or damaged during your stay as they must be replaced or paid for. We will make a charge to the booking card for all items not paid for (such as logs, kindling ettc.) prior to departure, without giving prior notice.
Please leave your glamping accommodation as best you can as you found it. A quick clean of the surfaces and a sweep around before you leave will be sufficient. In the kitchen you'll find a dustpan and brush. Please empty your rubbish bin on departure (we do encourage recycling and facilities are provided). Firepits and hot tub grates need emptying into the metal bin provided. Guests who leave a mess will be charged a £25 cleaning fee.
We will only clean or change your bedding if you are staying for a week or longer and you request it.
Each bell tent has a fire pit including a cooking grill that can be used to BBQ. There is also a pizza oven on site. Disposable BBQs must be placed on the firepit.
We ask that you are always respectful of the other people staying on site & our neighbours in the village. Quiet time is from 9pm. Music should be kept to a very low level up to this time and turned off after. No amplifiers or large speakers allowed. Except for full-site bookings, if you can be heard from the adjacent decking, you are too loud!
We provide your first net of seasoned logs and a bag of kindling and firelighters to light your hot tub/fire pit and sell further nets as required. Each yurt has its own storage unit with wood, firelighters, kindling plus other items you may need during your stay. A price list is provided in your log store and we do a stock check and charge for items used after your stay. We are 3 miles away from the market town of Retford should you need any food or drinks. We do encourage people to make sure they bring food and drink as there is no shop in the village, however, there are three restaurants all within a two-minute walk. Dukeries Retreat is a licensed premises for alcohol.
