Alternatively, venture in the opposite direction towards the charming market town of Retford, where the multi-award winning micro-brewery and gastro-pub, The Brew Shed offers a tantalizing array of real ales and fantastic pub food to more than satisfy you. With so many options at your fingertips, the only thing you'll need to worry about is which path to take.

From marveling at the majestic polar bears at Yorkshire Wildlife Park to unleashing your inner adrenaline junkie with a range of activities at Bawtry Paintball and Activity Centre, there's something for everyone to enjoy!     

Sundown Adventureland is a fantastic adventure park near Retford is designed specifically for children under 10. It includes play areas, rides, and themed sections. 

Sherwood Pines and Sherwood Forest. The largest public forest in the Midlands, Sherwood Pines offers a wide range of outdoor activities, including walking and cycling. This ancient forest is famous for its connection to the legend of Robin Hood. Visitors can walk among the ancient oak trees and visit the dedicated visitor centre.

Cresswell Crags. Walk in the footsteps of Ice Age hunters at this prehistoric cave site. It features a museum, tours, and a picnic area.
